Completion of PHC Piles of 2030 Cold Rolling Project of Baosteel Zhanjiang Steel Plant

On March 9, the construction of 3027 PHC piles of Contract Section 2 of 2030 Cold Rolling Project of Baosteel Group Zhanjiang Steel Plant was fully completed.
The main products of 2030 Cold Rolling Project are automotive steel sheets and steel sheets for electric appliances. The annual production capacity is 2.2 million tons. It includes: galvanizing line, continuous annealing line, finishing line, finished products storage，semi-mechanized packing line, recoiling line, waste water treatment station, circulating water station, purified water station, refrigerating station, temperature and pressure reducing station.
This project was commenced on September 3, 2013. The total construction period is 33 months. It is predicted to be completed by September 20, 2016. After being put into production, it will greatly improve the shortage of domestic relative products and reduce the reliance on the imported products. （Reported by: Yang Guosheng）
